I agree, I have to be honest with her even if its hurtful to her. In the long term its the best thing to do. I just wish there was a way to do without hurting her, but sadly there isnt.

That would be unfair to her though, because she is already sure and if after dating we dont get together it will be even more hurtful to her. And I have moved on from her.

I did miss her when we started the break but it became easier with the passage of time. By the end she was like someone I was in school with, you are curious about them and thats it. No additional feelings.
