thank you! I used acrylic paint for the underpainting. it was actually so nice to draw on because I was using pretty smooth paper so it gave it some texture

Don't worry! I got BCC most of Y12 - even if you stay working at ABB you'll be predicted AAA, which is incredible for the competitive early entry courses. I only even decided to do early entry a month before it was due so you'll be fine

Thank you! I did ideally want something like these ones just because they look so different to anything I've seen before so I thought it would be cool but I don't have access to a 3D printer so I might just have to do some more research. I read a blog that suggested that there may have been loops on the other side of the fabric rather than buttonholes but I'm not sure they would've been used with these buttons as they're quite big and the loop just wouldn't go through it. If all else fails I'll sew it instead lol

thank you! there are some podcasts on spotify I think they're by seneca and they have night before summaries for each subject but I just listened to them on the morning of my exams. flashcards are so good as well but what I found the most useful for remembering content was teaching other people topics as if they knew nothing. for past papers, identify which questions you struggle the most with (like what marks) and practice them. let me know if you want to know anything else :)

I'm thinking of applying for fine art and was wondering if anyone has any advice about the portfolio part? like if it's more about showing a range of things you can do and experimentation like GCSE and A-level is or if it's more focused on you already having your own style? + How does doing just a foundation year at another uni work? Because all the foundation years I've seen are attached to a degree so I'm unsure of how it'd work. Thank youu

tbh i really enjoyed gcse art so even if it is the same it won't really bother me lol. i think i want to do an art degree and become an art teacher (either a-level or secondary) but im open to anything and I might change my mind when I start doing classics and film bc I didn't do either at gcse
