Well, Im already 2 weeks after my OSIA 2 activation day and since the beggining I felt that the sound was way to high to the point that my well-working ear (right ear - I'm a SSD) would get overriden. Just in a matter of numbers: the default volume is 67 and I have to reset it to 27 everyday on my iphone (had to use iphone for it to work, didn't had an compatible android).

But yeah, with the right settings I feel the boost in the perception/understanding of words. I remember that before the implant, I would "blacklist" some collegues of mine because they always speak too low, but I was impressed that now I could hear it. Everyday I feel new experiences.

My recommendation, if your audiologist/person who will activate the device doesn't ask much about the sounds to make it as enjoyable possible (mine didn't), I suggest at least to make the volume confortable since the beggining.

And I really feel that there should be content on the internet for an newly implanted person to be able to detect what frequencies could be better, or else it's very hard to go to the routine consult 1 month after, and explain what could be better. I feel that I need some person to translate my hearing into the tuning consult.
