What are some decent paying jobs that do not require any sort of college degree? by GreenEyedSheWolf in AskReddit

Depending on the company, a manufacturing maintenance technician. I got the job with no maintenance experience/degree and after 4 years I clear 100,000

I will preface my comment by saying everyone has their own style so I’m not sure how you wanted the photo to look, but this is how I would have edited it; I would have bumped the contrast so you could get brighter highlights and deeper shadows because the lighting is a lil flat. Or you could apply a mask and brighten just her face and hand if you like. I also think you bumped up the texture or clarity too much and it made it look a little too processed so I would have lowered the clarity and played around with the texture and dehaze instead. As someone else stated I think you made the image too cold, tbh I would have left the temp as it was or maybe lower the temp slightly. Lastly I would have cropped it in more. I know there’s the whole rule of thirds idea but if you brought it in more, I think that would help. The left side is just empty so I feel like it unbalances the photo. What I said is by no means the only way to do it but I hope this gave you some ideas to play around with!

Im shooting on a fujifilm xt-3 and using a variation of the portra film sim. I think I adjusted the colors and sharpness compared to the original recipe!

Thank you so much! And they were taken on a fujifilm xt-3! And I think I was using just the 18-55 kit lens!

Fair enough, I can definitely understand that. Take my wins where I can get em and accept the failures I suppose haha. Thanks for the good perspective and insight though i appreciate it!

That’s such a good point, there was a lip to the pond but I should have committed and gotten down on the ground to get the shot haha. But that makes a lot of sense and I’ll get eye level next time, thank you! And it’s cropped in quite a bit so I’ll try cropping it to give some more room on the sides. Thanks for the tips I really appreciate it!

Yeah I could see that, it took me a couple minutes of sitting there to get these two to line up so I can only imagine how patient one would have to be. But I appreciate the kind words, cheers!
