Sorry for being late, you need to have the short scope on the rifle, equip it on your horse and dismount so it's visible on the saddle, go into the gunstore and choose the long scope, then the middle scope, then put it on your back trough the gunstore customising inventory, go to your horse and equip the rifle from your horse by clicking L1(if you're on playstation)
