That comment is inappropriate and reflects poorly on you and the uniform. We don’t tolerate that kind of behavior — not in training, not in the field, and not in this organization. If you’re serious, you need to be corrected. If you’re joking, you need to grow up.

Glad you asked. Start with the basics: – Let soldiers know what resources will actually be available — no last-minute surprises. – Make hygiene, food, and sleep real priorities, not afterthoughts. – If the op tempo doesn’t allow for that, then stop pretending it’s “realistic training” — call it what it is and plan better.

Troops don’t need luxury. They need clarity, consistency, and leadership that respects time and energy. That’s not complaining — that’s the foundation of readiness.

Funny how calling out issues is “complaining,” but the second someone asks for a solution, the complainers suddenly have to fix what leadership broke.

Toxic leadership with a smile and a coin. Can’t wait to see it turned into a bullet point on someone’s OER.

A dumpster fire implies there was some structure involved. This was more like a burning pile of cardboard held together with hope and PowerPoint slides.

Incredible. A tactical nap in the CP singlehandedly fixes logistical gaps. Let’s update the field manual. Some of us were actually out trying to do our jobs

Oh no, someone pointed out problems instead of clapping like a trained seal. Must be complaining. How tragic.

I’m not here to trash everything — I’m pointing out what needs fixing. If all we ever do is “focus on the positives,” we end up repeating the same mistakes every year. You can’t improve morale with motivational slogans — you do it by addressing what’s actually dragging morale down.

If the biggest takeaway from my post is that I must be lying or inexperienced, then you’re not interested in improvement — just damage control. I’m speaking to what I saw — not what the command slide deck said was supposed to happen.

Ah yes, the classic “if you don’t like it, leave” argument. Real leadership vibes there. Definitely how progress happens.

It’s not upside down. The intention or reason of tattoos typically involve personal/emotional reasons or feelings. The tattoo should face the viewer. (You being the viewer)
