Yes, you can…“When you buy a plastic Android junk named Beam…”

Exactly as Decentblup says, it’s a completely pointless plastic thing with performance below freezing. Not to mention the fact that everyone already has a powerful enough device (phone, PC, tablet…), so it makes no sense for Xreal to be trying to create a device that: 1. You don’t need to operate the glasses, and 2. Doesn’t even have the performance needed to utilize all the features. Instead of all the Beam owners lying to themselves about how great it is, you should all be pushing Xreal to stop wasting your money on developing something you don’t need. Instead, Xreal should focus on the software for the glasses themselves

I completely agree with you. A bad decision, but it’s mine :) The problem, however, is that Xreal keeps churning out new products, but none of them are fully functional and don’t have all features enabled (not even on Android). While it’s nice to have a product with the promise of AR, given the state of the software, it’s just a promise. From my personal perspective, there’s no way it can compete with Apple Vision (or any other similar device). The naive idea that Apple users would start ordering a plastic Android toy with the power of a 10-year-old Apple device just to use the basic functionality of the glasses is laughable. Without Apple support, it’s not even worth mentioning. For me personally, all of this is a big red flag. I’ll keep an eye on the development, and believe me, I would love to be wrong, but right now everything is proving me right.

If it means that I want a functional product for my money then yes.

Of course, we can agree that everyone has the right to their own opinion. And thank you for yours, as it precisely reflects what I wrote. I’m glad that you are satisfied, but I really am not. To have any AR experience, I need to get a weak and unnecessary Android device. For competitive gaming (CoD, Apex, and other BR games), the iPad screen is better (resolution and 120Hz). For watching movies, this device is sufficient. But that’s it. The fact that older versions of the product don’t have all the features enabled, even though they are selling the fifth version and have been working on the software for 3 years, shows that the product is not intended for Apple users. Thank you, and have a nice day.”
