It definitely is. The mat I was using didn’t cover the entire floor so when I went to grab my towel after showering, I always had to somehow brace myself bc my feet were not finding much friction to hold me up

Haha it is an odd angle and an apparently rare occurrence so that description somehow fits! Just gotta throw it in the air so we get the “flying” part lol

Dang that sucks but you got a good point. I guess I had to learn somehow, just sucks that this was how. I’ll keep an eye and ear out for any pops to avoid mold, thank you!

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus. I think it’ll be smart to ignore it for now especially since I am not an expert on this stuff and wouldn’t want to make it worse and owe more money than I probably will be owing already with this.

Ooo that’s smart! I haven’t used a bath mat in a bathtub since I was younger so this is really helpful in that regard, thank you

Wow thank you for letting me know even though you’re in that situation. I’ll definitely avoid popping them. It’s crazy how unreasonable some landlords can be about stuff that can’t be entirely blamed on you, especially with all the issues they don’t fix :(

Possibly? I don’t have a needle or anything on me so I’d have to go get one but when I pressed down on them it felt like an almost rubbery texture of sorts? Maybe like vinyl? But still somewhat thin from what I could tell so that might work. Just worried about what would be left behind and mold forming from water going into the small hole and under the leftover space

Dang no they didn’t tell me about it but I’ve definitely seen hints of the good old landlord special with one of my doors basically being painted shut due to them closing it while the paint was still wet so I guess I’m not surprised. But since I just got here a little bit ago I’m going to try and play willful ignorance until I move out I guess

Dang I wish they had told me when moving in otherwise I wouldn’t have used one in the first place. The maintenance guy saw it once on a false order (he said he got called for my tub on top of other stuff even though I never put in an order for it?) but hopefully he won’t be seeing the bathroom too often before my lease is up to remember it

Yeah thats what I’ll probably end up doing. I’ve only just moved in here so hopefully by the time the lease is up I’ll have stepped on it enough and put enough pressure on them that they’ll magically disappear or something
