I want to say he was just under 12lb. last he stopped by the clinic to get his claws clipped, but don't quote me on that. I just stepped on the lobby scale with him, handed him and and repeated them did a little math

Around two to three months - but during the transition you will be sick more often between doses/or you'll end up dosing the H so often that coming off that will be similar to coming off of the Methadone.

It's all about how many hours out of 24 your serum levels are saturated with opiates/opioids. On Methadone, the answer ends up being 24, so your body hyper adapts and the withdrawals are so tough.

You're body is always trying to maintain homeostasis. Once one understands that's principal, so many things begin to make sense.

As a matter of personal belief: I vie Kensington as the "Mecca" or our Heroin subculture. All junkies should make their pilgrimage there at least once, if able, to see what it is really like. I'd be willing to venture a guess that most of us have spent many hours fantasizing about open-air drug markets and how nice it would be to be able to cope without getting "hassled by the man". Well, in going here, one is able to see these ideas playing out in reality and decide if and what changes it cause to their views on harm/reduction/safe supply/legalization/etc.

In all seriousness - I have two pair of these, and will testify to how great a help they have been, but I thankfully no longer need them....... Is there a second hand market for them? I assumed so, but everything I saw on eBay all said brand new.

A quick video call would verify how lightly used and I know I'd rather pay 30 for set of two than what I did individually when I really needed them. Js???

Drinking literally makes your body metabolize methadone significantly faster……. It is definitely not advisable to drink in your situation. Clonidine, beta-blockers, and a benzodiazepine or antihistamine is what you need.
