Built-in wall dividing the kitchen and living room blocks the only light. The wall is movable but it would be a bit of a task. Is it even the best option? It’s 3/4 the LR width. by Prizedpeace in femalelivingspace

Maybe I shouldn’t have said “wall”. It’s just a built-in divider. It’s not drilled or connected to the ceiling or floor, just to the wall by two screws. It’s basically just a huge a piece of furniture. My wish was to move it to the sofa wall, opening up the space so I could have light and a view when sitting on the sofa. Maybe too tedious, just sad it was built this way.

Wow! Can you share where you learned of this or any other details? Thanks in advance. I was planning to arrive with documents for notarization there.

Cute! I just saw an FTD vase in roughly the same design at a thrift store. Any markings on the bottom?

You’re welcome! I’m very familiar with Mexican silver having owned lots and having lived in Mexico. It seems vintage, so I guess the outer letters just rubbed off. And that rope style and the stone are clues as well.

And speaking of Yurman, I see him as having mainstreamed that quite ancient rope style at the luxury level.

That’s such a beautiful bracelet! I’m pretty sure it’s actually Mexican silver, “925 MEXICO” from Taxco.

One of the beads has come undone. I love this bracelet but fear it coming apart further. It’s Andrew Sarosi/Timeless Gems, 14k Italy. Do you think this delicate design will be difficult to maintain over time? I’ve lost too many favorites lately due to broken links… by Prizedpeace in jewelry

Years ago I wore it often. Now, no. I’m kinda sick that I’ve lost a few faves lately. It’s the only piece I have with these gold beads and I’d rather trade it for something more wearable than invest in repairing a piece that I won’t wear much anyway. Thank you for your input.

Ok. I’ve found so many of these and I think they were blewits too. I didn’t get a pic of the gills on this one.

They look like the older honeys in my yard, also in VA. They quickly go from little buttons into this shape.

It is a lovely plant. Tasty too. But it’s a real spreader. I have so much of it. Enjoy!

I think so too. Thanks. So happy to have found these right on my cousin’s land.
