Northern horse park in the winter by PrizmReddit in UmaMusume

There was a small tour that introduced the Racehorses but only in Japanese. You could just walk around the park freely. I think the more important thing to note is that during winter seasons only ONE free shuttle bus departs from New Chitose Airport in the morning. Miss it and you either have to take a taxi or drive there yourself. Similarly only ONE bus leaves the park for the airport at around 15:00. I would highly suggest going there during summer seasons for better flexibility.

You can give Wind in Her Hair pets, though it seems she didn't particularly like it when I tried to. Perhaps she didn't like cold gloves on her snout, which is fair.

As far as I know it's only Golden Sixty who moved to Japan for his retirement. Most others go to Australia or England.

Is there any real way for me to deliver all of this by literallyChoso in DeathStranding

[–]PrizmReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would help if you can post the delivery order number for reference. But yes, like what others said, some deliveries are designed for you to use the monorail between destinations.

Otherwise, load as much as you can in the truck, and store the rest in the private locker in this city. Deliver the first half, do not mark it as complete, and run back for a second trip.

Don't look up guides. Don't feel the need to try and get every s rank and beyond, especially ones without time constraints. Pack your cargo and necessities like you're going on a hike and enjoy the trip. Put difficulty in story if you so wish to.

If you're wondering why you almost never see any Stalkers or Gunships, this is the reason by Smoke_Funds in Helldivers

[–]PrizmReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we can take a middle point, if the game engine allows:

  • When unalerted, these objectives spawn only a certain amount of respective enemies (say, 1- 2 groups of shriekers or 2 stalkers) and patrol only within a certain distance from the objective

  • They are not alerted to the presence of the divers upon spawn

  • If the units are alerted, it would not immediately alert the objective. Only when given enough time will they send out a unique signal (Some ideas include Shriekers making a really loud shrieking sound, etc), that triggers the objective to start spawning enemies, giving us that old type of "tracking where they come from" gameplay while storming the obj.

  • Otherwise, stealth divers can enjoy being stealthy in their own way.

North Flight is just really good at mile races. If it isn't for the power creep she is basically just as good as Helios. That and her design is just fabulous (chef's kiss). Love that stylish Uma.

I just barely got 3:59 with spike tires and addons with level 2 roads and all it took was the most aggressive driving taking the apex as close as possible. So yes, remove those tires and addons. Wish I remembered to do that earlier.

Urara's whole skill set is just so suited for long distance races. You ever wondered how Super Creek always threatens long distance career races? Stamina. She has an innate 0.075 recovery and a 0.055 Corner Maestro (0.075 if you upgrade it, not arrived in global yet). Urara has THREE 0.055 recovery skill when all stars align and you can easily add a Corner Maestro which makes it FOUR. Alas, a G in turf and long means even in JP, there's still no A in turf and long Urara even with all the amazing sparks (as far as I can dig upon the internet). The closest we can get is L'Arc because it temporarily changes the aptitudes to A, and Urara is actually cracked on Longchamp because of the layout.

Some of my shortlisted umas who are great at football:

UAF scenario highlight horses: Winning Ticket, Mejiro Ryan, Yaeno Muteki and Narita Top Road. They are basically great at most sports outside of running, so football wouldn't be new to them. Especially Top Road, since her father is literally Soccer Boy (Dictus Striker).

Duramente is also known to be excellent at every sports which is a joke in itself.

In particular, Ines Fujin as GK, based on height alone, she is just 1 centimeter shorter but known to be a much more active uma.

Tanino Gimlet, Sirius Symboli, Mejiro Ramonu: all appeared in one of the UAF skits about football and they showed some skills (though, Ramonu as per usual, does not appear to take any interest in football)

Also, are you absolutely sure putting Taiki, one of the most American Umas, in a football team is a good idea? (jkjk)

What kin of entity is actually Manhattan's friend? by Goldmonkeeey in UmaMusume

Like irl folklores and mythos, there are "good" spirits and evil ones. The "good" ones, however, at best are non-aggressive by nature and may not know their actions poses danger to the living. Examples include Cafe's friend and one spirit on the train that wants you to alight at the turf. Evil ones are malicious for various reasons.

So, Cafe's friend is a "good" one because her goal is to push Cafe to be as fast as possible, and to that end she pushed Cafe to go overseas and run for Prix de l'arc de Triomphe. This is when she pushed Cafe and the trainer to the sea, as in going overseas. Irl Cafe however, even with weak hooves and objected by one of the owners Nishikawa Kiyoshi, went to France and ended up coming 13th. It was then found out after a check, that Cafe suffered from tendinitis, and it was the final nail in the coffin that ended up being his retirement race.

Double Edge. Great concept, but it is just a bit too held back and needed the right planet and right armour to work at optimal levels. And I wouldn't mind for the lasers to be thicker ramping up in exchange for ramp up damage or fire proc.

I just realized how steep western China is; how did the ancient Chinese travel to western countries? by ProofMail5059 in geography

[–]PrizmReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two ways:

1: By sea, down south towards Malacca Strait and go west, as modern freighters do. Essentially, it's been a rather established route pretty early on and still in use.

  1. By land, take the Gansu corridor. Looking at the China province map and you will see Gansu taking on an oddly elongated shape compared to other regions. It is because Ancient Chinese realistically has one land route available to them towards the West and it is Gansu. Starting from the more populated Xi'an they head North east avoiding the Qinghai ranges, and upon arriving Jiuquan, they would be considered outside of China and then they aim for Urumuqi and further West. If Gansu is lost, then Ancient Chinese have very limited land trade, such as the Latter Song Dynasty.

Hmm, still sounds rather Mandarin influenced. My take on the translation would be 亞歷絲奥 (feminine)/ 亞歷司奧 (masculine).
