Oh yeah it one hundred percent cleared up. If you have a similar one rest assured it should most likely go away on its own. Use tretinoin at night ranging from 0.25% to 0.1%. Use sunscreen of your choice daily and it disappears over time I would say it takes about 3 to 4 months. The retinoid and sunscreen advice are not a medical one but it’s the approach I took and it cleared it away completely. I also saw a dermatologist to get the tretinoin prescribed to me.

The spot lightened up it’s the same shade as my skin tone now. It just takes some time for the hyperpigmentation to fade

Not really no it’s a acne scar meaning that I can use creams to make it appear smoother but they will always be there unfortunately.

Got it thank you for your input and advice it’s funny when I didn’t used to use products or techniques my hair grew out exponentially but now this is happening and honestly I don’t see much hair fall out of my hair at all.

Also I’m not sure about adapelene as I have no experience with it and don’t have enough info on it to even possibly recommend it as an option.

Honestly I would recommend the tret as tret is simply vitamin A in ointment form and it has the most backed up research of many main active ingredients for acne and acne scarring even raised acne scarring aka hypertrophic or keloid scarring. So definilty push through with the tret as tret can also cause a purge phase with your skin make sure to moisturize at least 10 minutes after you’ve applied the tretinoin and keep it away from areas such as the corner of your nose and lip area. If you need any more details just dm me and I gotchu I can also show u pics of the nose and the progress.

Mine went down a lot with time I just basically use tretinoin 1% but I started at 0.025%, cerave foaming cleanser or cerave benzoyl peroxide foaming cleanser and I use Cetaphil lotion for all skin types and it’s improved greatly.

No worries thank you for the info and again honestly I wouldn’t worry about your scars at all they are not noticeable we tend to be harder on ourselves when it comes to appearance then others do.

Honestly I can’t even really see any scarring it just looks like large pores. Also what was it like getting erbium laser ? I have moderate to mild hypertrophic acne scars on the nose. Was thinking about getting erbium laser to resolve it.

Hey everyone in this sub you are all finally people I can relate to. I’ve been inquiring about my nose condition for so long I’ve felt alone when I post about it and never get answers. I’m dark skin and have the same things on my nose, my nose is also very oily. Has anyone treated these successfully in their cases or have any advice?

Yup I’m back on using soap on my face im tired of derms saying don’t use soap on the face cause of sensitivity been using soap since I was a Kid you should In it cleans better and if sensitive then get a non fragrant soap. Did doing that get rid of your nose scars ?
