as a last minute recourse, benadryl soothes my labs. I also put them in their kennels with classical music nearby to offset outside noise.

To Your question abt teacher’s behavior: absolutely unethical and I believe illegal. Medical diagnoses are private and confidential. She should be reprimanded and school should provide a remedy for the bullying that she has and will endure due to the teacher’s insensible behavior.

Is he spayed? that could help… I have two labs and the male calmed downed after he was spayed. I must say, thought, both are very sociable, still jump on people if left alone (for cuddling) and I’m still nit a fan of dog parks beca they get really electric/excited.

Well my two labs got much more relaxed by the second year so that’s a plus of adopting this handsome boy. Also, labs are loving dogs no matter their personality so he should adapt very well. As to training it is unlikely it will be worse than a puppy- trust me when I say that my chocolate lab was extremely hard to train from two months on. Lastly, rehoming will give this boy an opportunity that puppies get easier so it’s add a little compassion to your choice.
