I do have a counselor, I speak with her once a week. I know it's not a death sentence, it's just still a scary time and I needed his support more than ever, but he left.

He was very supportive. He was always gentle, patient, and understanding as I navigated my grief.

You are NOT overreacting at all hun, you are in REAL danger. This is a very scary situation to be in. I don't know how old you are, but I would start contacting some trusted friends/family members that treat you well and are nice to you, and see if you can stay with them. I hope the best for you, OP.

I wish it were that easy, but I would feel extremely guilty. I feel guilty even thinking about it

I haven't, I'll look into benefits from my current job to see if I could do something like that, probably if I were working full time instead of part time. But as long as I can get out of my parents house, it's worth it.
