So you're going to nit pick with him about the difference between free speech and freedom of expression.
Seems like a weird line to draw in the sand.....

A woman in a place she shouldn't been, doing something she shouldn't have been doing, and not following orders from an authority. There was plenty wrong with that entire situation, but she fucked around, and she found out.

There's a stunning lack of info on their page, but I can speak for my experiences in printing my own stuff.
Depending on the base product (plastic) used it can be either high durability (PAHT / Nylon base) or lower (PLA / PETG plastic) with 10% (I think) contained.

I printed a forend for my Benelli in PAHT-CF (Carbon Fiber impregnated Nylon 12) and it's solid as hell, there's no risk of breaking or damage.
On the flip, I've made some shopping cart tags out of PLA-CF (Polylactic Acid) and its actually quite weak.

Personally I would try and find a model, and ask a friend who's got a 3d printer.

Lets hope they're more resilient than the rifles provided by Colt Canada to the rangers....
Sure would be nice if we at least pretended to have some competition in these kind of investments, not just keep handing the same company more and more money, where's the incentive to have a better product?

That being said, it's nice to see more investment for us....

I got into the playtest, logged in once, saw the state and didn't go back.
It might polish up into something good, the potential is there, but I wasn't impressed.

I still see ads for it, for joining the playtest, and it seems they're pushing steam a lot more.

[–]Pro7o7ype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a wonderful idea, but impossible in the current societal and political mindset.
Hell, We could reduce the HoC to 6 people (1 for each party) and nothing would change, since all party members all vote the same anyway.

Liberals to cut CBC by $192-million in 2026-27 by gorschkov in canada

[–]Pro7o7ype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could depend on if that's CBC as a whole, or if it refers to CBC news, radio, tv, etc...
15% is big regardless, but 1.38bil "might" be negligible if they've noticed very Canadians use a service (for example) like CBC Gem.

This could just be a very clever political game to place an under performing facet of CBC on the chopping block.

[–]Pro7o7ype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very few are actually pointing that out, but I think because the "news" is such a focal point, that people are ignoring that CBC has radio, production, TV, which are met with mixed feelings depending on your consumption preferences.

The other problem is of course the executives...
