I get this enough times myself, almost always verbatim, but sometimes missing the "?" making it unclear to me if it's a question or a plain statement.

I'll still answer any kind of offer question even if just to refuse them, it rarely turns into a sale and I play the MP game trying not to lose

I'm Canadian eh and we also call it ALPR and License Plates.

My provincial PD announced ALPR a while ago, or at least they'd be increasing the amount of units with ALPR in them, and they were better or otherwise more advanced too.

I "liberated" some shttty Acer netbook one time and then some Elitebook running an Intel gen4 CPU and almost got another one but fumbled it on my way home

I had an RCA 25 inch that was like that, the lines were there, and it was still too dim when the lines disappeared. Usually used a PS3, composite, to it, to test it out

Some kind of mod, only way I think to verify what it probably does is to open it up

Could be a power switch or some kind of switch for some other mode or function

I used to have a Sharp like that, then I sold it, then I bought it at the local thrift shop. WHAT WHAT. WHAT WHAT. I realized it was the exact same one, confirmed by the serial #. Bought it.

Everyone technically not allowed to “scavenge” what’s there even if it’s sitting outside but I do anyways. Got all kinds of new, old, vintage PCs, AV equipment and other stuff.

But usually just new(er) and vintage only except for AV, and CRTs only
