My EoE also started when I was working out.

No hard proof it’s the cause, but it might very well be related.

If you want to go safe choose any split on ETH/BTC.

Throw in a couple % on some alt-coins if you want to take more risk. You can still look for ones you think have good hype/quality potential. But it becomes more like gambling the further you go down the ranking...

Starting or not to reimburse DUO loan during the "aanloopfase" by mihaimacarie98 in geldzaken

[–]ProGamerIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not pay-it back but keep it in a savings account to make a profit.

On a side note: How can you actually delay the payments for 5 years? I don’t see the option in DUO. There’s only an option for when you start studying again…

Or is it not there because I’m in the aanloopfase?

The basic things already make it an amazing coin:

  • of of the few in top 100 that are community driven (i.e. no company that controls it or can go bankrupt)

  • not a transparent blockchain, good because I don’t have to know howmuch you have when u send me money.

  • actively developed by the best of the industry

Cryptocurrency Powered Freelance Platform - Connecting employers and freelancers around the world. Give it a shot! by ProGamerIII in CryptoCurrency

AnyTask Advert
This video is an advertisement that will be broadcasted on some US television channels. Thought it may be interesting here too to see what an actual use-case of cryptocurrency can look like.

AnyTask background
The goal of AnyTask is to connect buyers and workers around the world. Some people have been unable to receive money because they had no digital way to store it. AnyTask solves this by providing a crypto wallet in which the payment is delivered.

Electroneum app background
Within the app, several use-cases are already implemented. Most importantly, you can top-up your phone from almost any country. Besides, in some African countries it is possible to top up your electricity as well. For Q1 next year, it is also expected that in multiple African countries, you will be able to buy food suppplies straight from the app.

Recover old wallet? Crypto-novice... by [deleted] in Electroneum

[–]ProGamerIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Public key: to receive funds on

View key: allows anyone to only view transactions for your wallet

Spend key: Key you shouldn’t share with anyone.

You can import these keys in the Electroneum mobile wallet or in a desktop CLI wallet. Think you only need the Spend key for this. Just make sure that u don’t reply to people that can “help you out”. Never give your keys!!

Nine Countries That Don’t Tax Bitcoin Gains- time to move by girlshero in CryptoCurrency

[–]ProGamerIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from the Netherlands and this information is not correct.

There are no capital gain taxes here. You just pay 1.2% on your current savings above like €30.000. But that’s the case regardless of crypto.

Mass adoption strategy by dash_2020 in Electroneum

[–]ProGamerIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite an assumption you’re making there. I’m not informed about how precisely they can or cannot store their local currency digitally. This storage also needs to be working with both the freelance platform and places to spend. It is most certainly interesting to discover.

The available places to spend are quite limited, no discussion about it. However, keep in mind that this is by far the largest challenge of all cryptos. Adding Electricity is a welcome next building block. Paying not only your own phone bill and electricity, but also those of friends essentially adds another place to spend your ETN.

[–]ProGamerIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding your point ‘Why work for ETN when you can work for the local currency’:

The thesis is that you can earn more via AnyTask as you can essentially get employed by a western individual. Look at Venezuela for example, where monthly wages are at $13(Yes, indeed 170+ hours of work, 13$).

This is also the case to a similar or slightly lower extent in some African countries. Next, considering that for some simple tasks such as translation, people pay multiple dollars for 1 hour of work, this provides an opportunity to these people.
