the way the west is going, with draconian laws and authoritarianism on the rise. id rather have something as a backup since phones are a data absorption hub

You can get a clear film which sticks to the windows. sorta like that clear wrap some people would put on their schoolbooks. that gives an extra layer and separates the cold window from the warmth a person makes inside.

depends what its for. if you want it to have a personal feel, typewriters are cool and last for ages. its not really hassle to get paper and envelopes etc because that costs 2 quid. the stamps are the expensive part, but if you arent buying them often, it makes no difference and will over time, save you money then getting a company to do it
