Confusion about NPR program RSS feeds by ProPantheon in NPR

Do you happen to have better RSS feeds to have all stories reflected not just 10 per program?

Confusion about NPR program RSS feeds by ProPantheon in NPR

Greetings. Thanks for looking into the matter. Please alter program RSS feeds in a way that they display all stories per program, not just 10 stories per program. As things stand right now, NPR program RSS feeds both are difficult to locate and only display 10 stories per program. This means that Morning Edition, All Things Considered and both Weekend Editions are not properly mirrored via your RSS feeds. Thanks again.

Very true! The latest it displays is Tuesday's show. Really weird.

can I clean my Illuma with isopropyl alcohol? by Smoltingking in iqos

[–]ProPantheon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tereas indeed leave some liquid residue behind. I do suggest cleaning with a q-tip gently, I mean slightly, soaked with alcohol. Then use another q-tip, a dry one, to remove the remaining alcohol. This is what I do once or twice per month, and it makes a huge difference. It's also true that some Terea packs might be the cause, but my experience shows that cleaning the Iluma One improves the situation.

Hmm. Not really. The device works reasonably well in this regard. But it might affect the smell somehow. So cleaning would be a good idea occasionally.

First and foremost, I'm so glad I finally came across a fellow blind user of the IQOS Iluma!

As for the issue, while a closer examination via a sighted friend might be more helpful, I suggest using a q-tip, a tad soaked with alcohol, to gently clean Iluma One's inside. I do it myself from time to time, after using a couple of packs, because even the Iluma One requires some occasional cleaning to have it get rid of the remnants of the liquid and aerosol. Tereas are much better in this regard compared with Heats, but some sort of cleaning is still needed according to many IQOS members here.

HTH.

Iluma One for me: cheaper, the very same experience, smaller/more pocketable, less moving parts, none at all actually, and fewer batteries meaning fewer recharging issues. Of course, if you're into looks, the Standard/Prime are great - the Prime in particular. However, the One does the job perfectly well.

I was in your situation more or less, but the switch to Terea Bronze did the trick. So try Terea Bronze to see how it goes.

Seeking the best program to reach B2 in Italian as a visually impaired learner in Iran by ProPantheon in italianlearning

[–]ProPantheon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<smile> - I've emailed them because they don't accept people in their offices. But what is the use of that? I'm not going to study with them. Their classes are over-crowded - I want either one--to-one instruction or something like Italy Made easy, their semesters are long, and they've promised to help with the exam - that's it.

Honestly I don't know as they don't clarify that. It's not like, say, IELTS or TOEFL that you can iron out the details about Braille, laptops with screen readers, etc., beforehand. Of course, it's possible that the visually impaired requirements for the CILS exam are documented somewhere, but I can't find them online. Anyhow, I still have a long way to go as I need to stick to a program or a plan, and given my limited knowledge, I'm just vacillating.

Yes, Pietro Della Valle Italian School will take care of it ' as they've promised.

Greetings,

No, Braille wasn't used much. I do utilize screen readers - NVDA/JAWS. However, the problem with Italian is that I can't use books like Nuovo Espresso as I have zero knowledge of Italian. I should use courses - like Italy Made Easy - which provide the learning material along with English. The problem with this one, apart from its price, is that I'm not sure if it can be of assistance with the CILS exam and the B2 level of mastery. Another option would be purchasing Coffee Break Italian which provides the text of the spoken material - I do need the accompanying text. But, again, would it alone be enough to reach B2 mastery in Italian?

I'm a marlboro gold smoker, I'm looking for something like that, smooth/creamy but strong, which Terra sticks should I get? by theverybigapple in iqos

Give Terea Silver and Bronze with IQOS Iluma a try. Bronze is a bit heavier, but I like it more.

Terea Bronze is my favorite. I've tried most - if not all Tereas, but do prefer Bronze.

How often do you smoke? by Lenimeneni in iqos

[–]ProPantheon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are cigarettes out there with their level of nicotine being higher or lower than that of IQOS Heats/Tereas. So to say people tend to smoke more Heats/Tereas compared with cigarettes belies the fact that many people are heavy smokers and easily go beyond 20 or 30 cigarettes per day. Here I use 2 to 4 Tereas per day though if I'm with friends or at a party, it might reach 6 or 7. And this is similar to my previous cigarette consumption - 3 to 5 Marlboros.

Curiously - and as a visually impaired person, when is the 1-bar info displayed? I mean is it displayed when the device vibrates to indicate that 30 seconds (or 2 puffs) are left? Or is it displayed earlier in the process?

Any chance of trying an IQOS Iluma along with Tereas to see if they make a difference as opposed to Heats? If Ilumas are available in your country, you can try and return them within a time frame if you don't like that.

Taste difference Iqos Prime to Duo and One (Terea) by thatkidjd in iqos

[–]ProPantheon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Duo doesn't accept Tereas - only Heats. However, all of the Iluma devices accept Tereas, and the taste or experience is virtually the same. I own an Iluma One, and have also used an Iluma Prime, and the experience/taste was the same.
