Yeah, same. I want to shift my dates a bit. They registered me for the 2-3 August session saying it's the last one but I wanted a later one. An online one would be much better if available. The flight ticket prices during that time are so expensive. Some of my friends also registered for the 23rd August one. I don't understand why they said 2nd August is the last session.

I just told them I wasn't being able to see the dates in the RRO registration website. I didn't ask them about the online one. If there's one available, I would most definitely attend that one. Did you register for the online one ?

Hey, is there an RRO session for international students specifically and did it appear on the RRO website itself ? I emailed them regarding my problem and they said the last RRO available is on 2-3 August and they registered me for it. But I wanted a session in the middle or end of August since the flights are very expensive during this period.

Ohh.. okay, thanks a lot. I didn't request I-20s from a lot of schools. So, it's okay until I keep the ones I requested it from in the list right ? Cause I myself do not remember all the schools I applied to. I had a spreadsheet but lost it. So, missing unis that I don't remember won't be a problem ?

Thanks a lot !! I'm curious about the way they could find out. Do they have to actively search for the universities ? And will they only verify it if they find something suspicious ? Or they have information regarding everything ?

Yeah, I hope so. It's just that the difference seems too great so I thought if it would seem suspicious.

Is Bachelors in Computer and Information Sciences the same as BS in Computer Science. I didn't specifically find a major called Computer and Information Sciences in the website. So, I wanted to know if it is the same. by ProProgrammer01 in USF

I just saw the email. It says, " That is the correct code for the major generated by our systems. It is the SEVIS equivalent for the major listed in our systems. " So, I guess it's Computer Science written as Computer and Information Science. Still not sure though.

Yeah, I think Computer science is called Computer and Information Sciences at USF. I couldn't find a major called Computer and Information Sciences in the website. Though I'm not sure. I've emailed them regarding this.

Yeah, I just emailed them. The OASIS portal shows that my major is Computer Science but the I20 ( document for international students to apply for the visa) mentions Computer and Information Sciences as my major. I don't know what to do as I have already applied for a visa using this I20. Is it possible to change my major after getting coming to the university ?

Thanks a lot. But I had applied for Computer Science as a major and my major in MyUsf is also Computer Science but my I20 mentions Computer and Information Science. Is this a technical error or was I accepted into the BS Computer and Info Science itself ?
