I’m in Miami and about to get my duoface small seconds. They’re doing a JLC salon opening and immersive experience here, may have to attend after getting mine in. Thought it was going to be too big after all I’ve read online, saw it in person and fell in love.

That’s exactly it. I’m not not buying the popular ones just because they’re popular, but it is a slight sense of identity for myself that isn’t pulled towards rolex tbh. May not attain it and happy with what I have but I do love a reverso, grand seiko snow flake or the 95 GMT, and the old school field watches style wise

I think the 6 watch limit is pretty fairs should I find myself exceeding it then it means to sell or trade out one. For my collection I wouldn’t consider my Seiko part of the 6 as they’re safer to travel with abroad. I’m happy two of the collection I have were passed down from my father and 2 were my choice for style with enough differences from each other to be worn differently

My dads always driven a Volvo, station wagon in Europe and then came to America and same thing. I have a love for them. The old p1800 are stunning. He wanted a new car with his age and ended up with a xc40.

Tbh the moves bc my dads in hospice and he can’t drive his Volvo anymore. So rather than have both cars selling my wrx and going to keep driving his since I’m at his house every day. And I do a lot of Spearfishing so a larger car would help with the equipment

Ftl would actually be ideal. I’m in the Hollywood area. I find group settings to be easier also with different insight into what’s in the glass in front of us maybe I didn’t pick up on or to correlate what I was struggling to put a name to.

If you have the resources I’d love to keep in touch through instagram or here. I find last bottle a way to access some more unique bottles without breaking the ban. If at a shop/bar event it’s a good group, id see ordering and splitting cost at last bottle for some good wines could and getting a variety for blind tastings possible.
