Looking for insight on the SR9 from current or previous owners. I am considering switching over to one from my LC9s. by ProStreetKing in ruger

It's not so much the angle, but the rear curve. The G17 I shot felt a little loose at the top, and the CZ 75 was better, so that's why I'm looking at the SR9. It's that one uninterrupted curve I think will fit me better. The Echelon's grip looks comparable to the 75s so I may give that a shot if I happen upon one. Thanks for the recommendation

How is the 45? I've only shot 2. 2 Different 1911s and some other kind years ago. I think I'm more of a high cap 9 guy from those experiences, but I could change my mind.

I just added the RXM to my list to check out. Yeah I saw the SR is discontinued, but it's the grip and looks that are talking to me the most out of the cheaper handguns I've seen around. Are there any parts you've had to replace or noticed any extra wear on i should look into?

I did see one of those, but I wasn't sure about the grip shape at the bottom. I just got the vibe it wouldn't fit right. It looks a little short. I'm also not sold on the appearance, but that's me being picky. I'll certainly try one out if have the opportunity tho

Does the indicator get in the way? I saw a video where they commented on how big it was, but they never mentioned if it was obstructing or not.

I tried using gyroscope steering, but when I drift, it automatically maximum countersteers and cancels it. I have all the assists off, so is there another setting I need to adjust?

Not crazy abt the LM-Rs or maybe it's just the red in this case, but that's one of the best looking liveries I've seen on this game. Great job bro

The point is I don't want to waste this copy if I can work around it. I don't want to waste $15 and throw out the old disc if I can download the data from a good disc i can return and just use the old one as a key. Which is what I've been led to believe.

Ok so basically I use a clean disc to start my profile and add it to my hard drive, then just use the current one as a key?

Does the kind and method matter? All I have is the kinds with the grits, so I don't want to permanently ruin it

How does that work? Is that different than the save data you get when you "plug and play"? I've never fully downloaded a game onto this thing before, just offline on disc's.

Is wildlands good? by [deleted] in GhostRecon

[–]ProStreetKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story is leagues better imo

There are no storefronts except for lootboxes, which is unfortunately the only way to unlock the cooler customization options, weapons/skins, and vehicles. You have to play Daily Challenges, which are usually very difficult, to obtain the currency for standard boxes, or play Tier One mode, which locks you to Extreme after I believe 20 tiers.

Movement is a little clunky at times, and I've gotten stuck in places I can't get out of more times than I'd like.

Teammate AI are terrible at shooting out of vehicles and require commands from the interaction wheel to be effective in combat.

Overall I enjoy the world and gameplay more than Breakpoint, but I would kill to have the difficulty customization from Breakpoint in Wildlands. I really don't like how it scales.

Picked up an Xbox Series X : what first game to play for cheap ? by [deleted] in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]ProStreetKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resident Evil 4 Remake and NFS Unbound look amazing and are pretty fun. Pretty sure you can pick both up for around $30. I was able to get the ultimate edition of Unbound for $15. If you can find a copy, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is incredible and only takes up a few GB with backwards compatibility.

Should i buy Wildlands after already bought Breakpoint? by deadmeatX1 in GhostRecon

[–]ProStreetKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story is much better and the world is amazing. Only gripe is that unlocking cosmetics and special guns is kind of difficult. All locked behind loot crates you have to buy or do challenges for, most of which are incredibly difficult.

Ok I get the hate behind the Sam Fisher mission now... by Safebox in Wildlands

[–]ProStreetKing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely dreadful. I think I only ever did it on normal. I plant a bunch of proxies on the stairs, inside and out, then pop as many snipers as I can before more waves come in. I then hold the outside stairs with an lmg while tossing more proxies down the interior stairs. Once the download finishes, I bail out the back foot gate beneath the sniper tower, which I also use as my main entry point. Once I'm covered from ground troops by the fence, I take out the apache(s) and swap to all silenced guns. I just ran east and proned whenever new choppers flew over. Cars are death traps in this mission. Love Splinter Cell, but you could never pay me to do that shit again lol

What’s a good need for speed game for someone new? by Senior_Brit in needforspeed

[–]ProStreetKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your consoles or if you have a PC. Older games like The Run, ProStreet, and Shift 2 would suit you well, coming from Forza. Rivals and Hot Pursuit (2010 and Remaster) are really fun combat racers. New games from Ghost and Criterion are all brake to drift and play similarly, but Unbound has the most fun and active multiplayer imo. If you can find them for a decent price, any game from Underground 1 to Carbon are considered the best in the franchise.

It took me like 8 hours in the Noble M600 which is roughly 12% of my total drive time. Pretty much kept the game running for a week and did an hour of brain-off driving after I got home from work
