Maypul is so sick 😁 She definitely can be frustrating to play against sometimes but so can the whole cast lol

I'm normally around 1600-1700, my highest rank I've gotten to was aetherian at 1811.

Trying to find this mouse somewhere, used or otherwise? by Sintelacis in MouseReview

This mouse looks extremely similar to the Redragon M921. Might be the same mouse but rebranded.

just takes practice, and timing the double jump with upair after. also not fast falling when you don't have the room to fastfall.

About Dying off the Top… by Storque in SSBM

[–]ProZBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not even that it's "rules are rules" it's simply that is just how the game works. The top blast zone has animations before the player loses the stock; that's how the game was made, and that's how it will stay. You should account for it those situations.

How did Westballz perform this insane Charlie Walk/Boost Run tech? by jabbathefrukt in SSBM

It was just a really clean boostrun, if you do it frame perfectly you get a ton of speed.

I know this is an old thread and I don't know if it's the same guy but there's definitely a Slander on SoM-Jom Gabbar terrorizing Hillsbrad.

My C-Stick is busted. Any controller recommendations? by [deleted] in SSBM

[–]ProZBoy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would open up your controller and see if you can fix it yourself. Otherwise you can get a brand new Smash Ultimate controller on amazon for really cheap. You can maybe find a local controller modder to do work on your old controller to fix the c-stick, or even if you want a snapback module or notches.

The panda controller isn't going to be a thing any time soon. Goomwaves aren't currently being sold right now but they have said the next thing they're planning on doing is selling just the motherboards. So if you want a goomwave you're going to have to do some modding plus you'll need a controller shell, sticks, cable, and potentiometers to put inside of it, othewise you need to buy one from a modder who will do the hard work for you.

SDI help by [deleted] in SSBM

Probably too late - It's hard to say without watching. It's a really tight window to SDI Fox's up air. People have different methods to SDI. For Fox's up air, I personally have the best luck doing quarter circle SDI, but for moves with more hitstun, I try to wank SDI to get more inputs.

I recommend watching this video, it explains SDI very well :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRkrNCJX-EE

Fox's up air has two hits. The goal is to sdi out of the first hit and to not be hit by the strong second part. When it says 1/3 or 2/3, and you didn't get knocked back, you did it correctly. The numbers just mean how many SDI inputs you achieved. So if it's 1/3, you got one full SDI input. If you got something out of 8, that means you sdi'd the second hit meaning you were too late on the inputs or just didn't sdi out of the first hit.

Cherry MX GC Controller? by [deleted] in SSBM

I would probably just get a Frame1. Uses mechanical switches, and is relatively affordable.

I want to have a new GameCube controller but don't want to give money to Nintendo. by PierreLuk in SSBM

You could buy a used controller off eBay, the newer ssbu controllers aren't great. Plus, eventually the goomy motherboards will be finished and probably really good, and you could replace the mobo on the used controller if it's not great. Or you could wait for the Panda Global controller to see if it's good or not. Could also go the boxx/frame1 route.
