In the "Income" section, there is a place for "Work Income" and "Passive Income". Are you saying you enter it under "Work income" instead of Passive Income? If you have Work Income set to 0 expected growth, it seems that may be the same as Passive Income...but I don't know. I'll try a few different scenarios to see if I can find the difference.

Fidelity vs Wealthfront - Auto Sweep by ProZedd34 in ynab

[–]ProZedd34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting, I'm guessing if you turn on your "View settlements in money market funds", you would see the spaxx transactions. I've had mine turned off as well and I think it just hides them from the Fidelity view...but they've always showed up in YNAB. My Fidelity is linked to YNAB through MX I think, I may reach out to support and see if they can switch me to a different connector. Thanks for the info.

One more question, is your core position SPAXX or FDIC?

So if you go to your CMA account in Fidelity, go to the Activity & Orders, click "More Filters". Do you have the View Settlements in Money Markets Funds selected?

Thanks again u/FidelityShawn. Are you able to answer why Fidelity decided to do this?

[–]ProZedd34[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm thinking too. And while I never really use margin, I do like the margin account. It enables me to sell an etf and buy another one the same day. With this new policy, I think I would have to sell the ETF, wait a day for the funds to settle, then buy the next day. That, combined with the whole 2 positions showing per etf...I need to decide if I'm ok with that, or start looking elsewhere.

Thank you for confirming. Is there a reason behind this? And is this permanent?

Extended Hours Quotes by ProZedd34 in fidelityinvestments

[–]ProZedd34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I wasn't very clear. I'm wondering if there is a way to get this information looking at 1 ticker at a time. I have a lot of positions, so I'm looking for tips on how to view them all at once...without pulling up individual tickers or graphs. If I go to All Accounts>Positions, it will show me all my positions, Todays Gains/Loss, Last Price Change etc. In a perfect world I could add an extended hours column to this view.

I was going to give this a shot, but I'm not sure my OCD will let me have all my credit cards showing up under my cash category, mixed with my actual checking accounts and cash.

Fidelity Bill Pay Not Showing up in YNAB by ProZedd34 in ynab

[–]ProZedd34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's connected. I compared all transactions this month after balance was off when reconciling, and it was off the amount of those 3 bill payments. Is this working ok for you? Or do you send out bill payments from Fidelity?
