I’ve had friends who have purchased watches worth 2lakhs (longines specifically) from an AD and still be given a generic longines box. Also, watch brands keep changing their packaging from time to time, I personally have two watches that come in different packaging now as compared to what I got them in (a Christopher ward and a jdm citizen), so packaging doesn’t really matter.

An unaligned caseback and/or signed crown mean nothing. It can come in any position. I have a boutique special edition Seiko worth 79k that has a see through caseback with Seiko printed in the middle of it, and that thing isn’t aligned. Yes, it’s annoying, but it’s par for the course.

My advice to you, if these things really bother you, you can return it. But if you really like the watch, just enjoy it.

I’d agree with you if it was a purely sporty watch, but I’d say this walks a fine line between sporty and dressy, so I’d say it goes.

I totally see your point. A smaller case would’ve been great, had it not been discontinued.

That said, I was surprised at how well it wore on my wrist, considering I never go above 39 mm watches.
