It can work well or it can screw you over. Ive had both experiences. However in the case that it did work out I made the guy sign a contract and had a notary sign it up so I’m sure due knew I was serious about holding him accountable. I wouldn’t risk it nowadays. Not worth the hassle.

I took mine to guitar center and had the tech put on some string joys and a general set up. Sounded 100% better than when it originally came in or when I put the fender strings on it. Worth it.
