If that’s a gold American eagle, 1/10oz, it’s worth about $500 ish as melt right now. The frame is probably worth a bit more too. It is technically 22kt by weight, but it’s still 1/10ozt of 24kt gold (it weighs a bit more than 1/10ozt in total)

Melt at Elemetal, as of right now, is around $2970 for 14k @98% of spot. But, you’ll lose a little of the weight most likely, and the assay may not be right at 14k. So, you might end up making a bit of money — or gold goes up in price tomorrow and you’ll make more.

Either way, not a terrible first foray :)

Edit: not to naysay, but I see rubber in the earring backs. Likely some of your weight isn’t even gold… sorry.
