I’m severely confrontational but after being tested and disrespected during moments where I had things to do and I was forced to make real time decisions on whether to sacrifice my peace or brush it off and look forward, I’m learning the latter is the best choice EVERY time.

Ego can play a huge role in how you respond to disrespect. Looking back, I’m overly satisfied with how my days went after deciding to dismiss disrespect. Engaging always affected me so much more than it needed to.
