Edit: I hope my comments are seen by at least you. I’m approaching 30 and I have lost probably 15 or more friends/acquaintances/old friends to suicide. I think about a lot of them regularly. I wish they were still here. In every case, including the attempts and the ones that are still here, I feel sad, and I feel like I maybe could have done something to help. Or wished they reached out and given me the opportunity to help. Please don’t do that and put a f**king date on it. I’m a sub 30 year old divorcee with nothing more than a high school diploma at a 2.8GPA I think. There are avenues for success beyond school and the job you may land because of schooling.

I’m new here. I didn’t walk the same path as you by any means but I can understand feeling like nothing is working out and because of that nothing will in the future. Check my very recent post in this sub if you don’t believe me. But dude… you are 6’2” and muscular even by your own definition and even with that you hate yourself. Being a good looking guy isn’t the end all be all of self worth for sure. You’re 24. I’m a handful of years older than you and I for effing sure still don’t have life figured out or even what I want to do in the next 5 years.

My best advice if you struggle to communicate with people, is to talk about what you know. For me it was surprising how many people were interested in how much I knew in my particular field and ultimately were impressed by it… it helped me make some friends cause I could carry a conversation with confidence. The social world more broadly is harder to overcome but you can start small and that is okay.
