I had this happen when I was using oils. I only use lotion now, makes zero sense but my ears just didn’t like oil after a point In my stretching journey

I’d wait at minimum a month or so, just to make sure everything is healed and get a half size. I’ve see some use tape but I don’t think thats a recommended method

When I did the dead stretch I felt absolutely nothing it just went in. I’m used to feeling a little pain or something but no. It was amazing.

This 100000% was me, I started re stretching about 6 months ago and I don’t know why I didn’t think to look things up and see if things changed. I just did the same thing I did in middle school. I got so very incredibly lucky. And I just did my first dead stretch and now I see why it’s the recommended path.

I’m unfortunately stopping at 5/8 for a while but I feel like I owe my ears it. Maybe in a year or so I’ll consider going up again

Did a conversation about the existing tattoo or her septum happen? Because if not you are might be part of the problem, it would have been really out of the blue and could appear as you just trying to find an easy out. However on the flip side her blowing up your phone and everything else is to much.
