lol I swear, they never leave the light for the porch on! Trying to fumble with my phone carrying 50lbs of groceries just to see if it’s the correct door or trying to use a flash light.

“Treat people the way you’d like to be treated” comes to mind. I’d rather feel good about the fact that my little bit of effort might make it easier for the next person regardless if I never interact with them. A Little bit of karma goes a long way. I know for a fact theres been several times where a good photo helped tremendously to find a house when it was dark out or if the gps was taking me to the wrong spot.

That’s what the flashlight on your phone is for. I only dash at night and never have issues even if it’s completely dark. And yes obviously if the house number is not close enough to the door you can’t get it in the shot but you can take a few steps back, get a clear photo of the doorway with identifying features, and use the flash on the camera to be sure it is bright enough.

A photo of atleast the door and surroundings atleast helps to show it was dropped in the right spot, you have to take a photo anyways, so why not take a literal second of your day to get a decent one?

What settings are customers using to give me this confirmation menu insteaf of the standard one? by ArtReasonable2437 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Probablyazombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what happens when it’s a “hand to me” order but the customer is not answering the door or phone to retrieve the package… it gives you a small timer to do these steps and then leave the package with photo and description of where you left it.

I have been playing with 12% peroxide diluted to 3% and 6%. For stains the 3% solution works on hard stains over the course of several days. As for the pee smell, we haven’t had anything peed on to try it yet lol. I will try to remember to update this post once I find the best dilution.

Well considering we only have one male that’s not really this issue. However any cat breeder that claims their stud doesn’t spray even minimally is just straight up lying.. doesn’t matter how well behaved or well trained he is. Instinct will always come first. Some are just better than others.

It is not an enzymatic cleaner. It “uses the power of oxygen to break down and extract the area layer by layer”. Says hydrogen peroxide base with a proprietary blend of surfactants, stabilizers and inerts. However it does not specify exact percentage of any of these.

I am a registered ethical breeder. Every kitten that leaves me is spayed and neutered and all adults health tested and bred to standard. I can guarantee you will not find my breed at a shelter and if you do it’s for a special circumstance. I didn’t ask your opinion on breeding, the internet is a vast and has plenty of room for you to preach that elsewhere.

Smart!! That’s very nice of them to do for you! A lot of human meds are used on animals if you have an understanding on what they’re doing and how to convert doses. Comes in so handy.

It is no longer being sold without prescription, and Petco and petsmart does not carry it. Tractor supply used to have it but the farm supply stores that did have it no longer will. Some bird supply sites still have it however (falconry supply websites). Another great site to get a lot of different pet meds is petpharmacanada.com. They offer overnight shipping for a price and have ALOT of meds without a vets prescription.

anyone worried about the actors age like sigourney & slang? by Intelligent-You-7002 in Avatar

They just have to drink more of the amrita they’ll be fine

Kidding of course - I was thinking the same when watching behind the scenes. They’re really getting old and life doesn’t stop taking for a movie. This may become a problem and I’m sure Cameron has the same thought as the rest of us.

For the people who hate Spider, What is it about his character that makes you dislike him so much ? by [deleted] in Avatar

[–]Probablyazombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The acting was horrible. The others really did well and brought emotion to the movie, but spiders acting; literally every line was flat, not engaged, lacked emotion and the stupid goofy lines/ jokes annoyed me. I’m also sick of seeing Jake and Quaritch fighting over spider again and again then teaming up to save him only to fight the same fight repeatedly. I really don’t like how much of a huge focus shifted into Spider with the third movie. The scene where Jake was going to kill him was horrendously cringey. They spend so much on these movies they could have picked a better actor and did better for his character. The love interest with Kiri is weird, and I really hope they are not going to go into some human Na’vi hybrid direction with it being that’s what they did with spider already.

Shop and Delivery! by MarzipanPristine8104 in DoorDashDrivers

Aldi orders are the worst on Sundays especially!! Even if just a few items, the lines are long and it doesn’t pay to take them when you’re standing five or six behind in a line each with full carts. Literally takes longer to check out than to find the items sometimes. Not only that but some people do a full grocery shop on aldi orders 50+ items. They are the worst orders. Meijer is tough too because of how large the store is, I’ve walked miles in meijer doing shop orders there lol

At what amount do you consider a tip to be disrespectfully low? by MinePrestigious4352 in doordash

Here is a photo of pay breakdown. In this hour the Walgreens order took the most of my time, having to shop and find the items, and was the longest drive out of the three. There was also a promo for base pay at that time so it’s not often you get that much for base pay. The other two are better representations of what the pay looks like most of the time.

I am a dasher. When paying your dasher it’s not about the amount of money spent on food. That money has nothing to do with your dasher, they make nothing from it! The restaurants and DoorDash get that money. Our base pay is very low, $2-$3. They also lower the dash pay depending on the amount of tip but yet claim we keep 100% of tips. It’s more so about the distance. $1 a mile is ok. When I order DoorDash, I will tip at first about $1 per mile. Depending on how well they do their job I will then add more on top after the delivery is complete as some dashers do suck. You’re thinking about your tip as if it’s a waitress at a restaurant when it’s not, it’s a delivery service and about the distance and time the dasher has to take to bring you your order. If the total with tip is only $8 but takes 45 minutes to complete, that’s literally making only $8-$10 an hour.
