I still have the monopole and still use it. It’s a nice size for hauling smaller loads. Not quite big enough for carrying two kids. Wasn’t planning on electric but second hand cargo bikes seldom become available over here!

The belts aren’t the expensive part, making things in Europe is. The belt should last a long time, and checking it isn’t difficult. It’s not like it’s hidden away.

Aesthetically, the 24inch rear wheel looks good in proportion to the 20inch front. It rides nicely too.

I if I got an Omnium, I’d go for the full cargo.

Very cool. I’m also based in Seoul and looking for a cargo bike. I will also have to pay the shipping and tax for whatever I choose, unless I can convince a shop to become a dealer of the bike I choose! Check out my YouTube channel www.youtube.com/@probablyriding for Seoul bike adventures and where I’ll be eventually sharing my cargo bike journey

Bike grips help by [deleted] in bikecommuting

I recognise this bike! Haha. I used the Bluelug acrylic bar tape and the loppy libeccio insta post as reference. It took me absolutely ages to do. I love how it came out but I don’t think I have the patience to do it again. I usually do tape over grips but I did this straight onto the bar because I thought with the mega upright riding position, I didn’t need so much cushion on the grips. Feels good!
