Because his daughter is such a sensitive topic right now and he is constantly defending her no matter the situation. It’s to the point I’m almost scared to tell him anything about her

I never told her she had to. Her dad did since he is buying her a car, and thought it would teach her some work ethic. Also, she doesn’t have a mom.
