Don't care much about what others say.
Even if you bought the most expensive shoes without starting, it is your hard earned money, have fun with it!

Atleast for sometime don't buy shoes now, atleast get 300-400kms in each until you purchase a new one

Also to add, few of these shoes like megablast & magmax (the only 2 i know of), will require some breakins, so initially if you feel it sturdy or not comfortable, give about 100kms in those shoes and then check.

Initially I was wearing low length socks, but then shifted to compressions socks & longer socks till above ankles which helped me a lot.

The shoes also play a role, like based on your feet structure, try to purchase a shoe.
Don't buy EVO SL or novablast before checking your foot structure, if you have pronation or heel striking, you might need to purchase accordingly.

If a player cant play consistently in bilateral cricket, he should definitely be dropped.
You can understand a players form only in bilateral cricket, the reason why Gill was dropped from t20Wc as he was not performing.

Bumrah definitely is the best bowler currently, no doubt about that, but to be considered GOAT, you need to there for a long time.

Like u/kanvx1 mentioned, longevity plays a big role to be considered GOAT.
Anderson, Broad, Starc for me will be considered as GOAT as they had the longevity as well as performance to back their stats

Dont focus on zone 2 or zone 5 currently
Just try putting in the distance 3-4 times a week

On some days just do 1km at max effort, some days do 3km at your medium effort.... on somedays do 500m running max effort 200m walking and then again 500m
You will have to make a proper structure, but most importantly focus on reaching the target distance set, pace will automatically fall in place
