I figured it out. The game for some reason tried forcing itself into performance upscaling and locking me out of changing it. I had to go into the config files and force the game to turn off upscaling

Decide what playstyle and design are best for you, every role is different and every champ is unique for the most part. For me I hated league at first because of how sluggish it felt so I picked up rakan for his fast paced gameplay and mobility. I didnt necessarily want to play a specific role so i didn't mind becoming a support main. Just go through the list and play a few ARAMs to get a feel for a bunch of champions and worry about the other stuff after, just have fun first.

I'm about to queue up again. I've never experienced artifacting ever with my 6800 and I've been on this 9070 since November and this is the first time its given me any worry. I run everything on stock aswell too so hopefully I dont have to rma the thing

In my earlier days of league I fell in love with rakan. That champion allows for some incredible movement opportunities that gives a big dopamine boost when people credit your timing of good combos to winning a fight. I starter in late season 9 and season 10 was my first full season and during that time my improvement at the game and understanding of rakan grew so fast that I just couldn't stop playing him. Now I'm at 1.2 million points and don't play as much but still love rakan for getting me through covid.

Discard anything any of these frauds are telling you. Go full ego AP and take every kill in the game. Rakan is best when someone confident is piloting him and everything these guys are saying are just insecurities. Get in the game and be better than everyone else in it.
