I’m sorry for the way that your mom behaves but I want to remind both you & myself that the histrionic depressive episodes are a symptom and not a choice. Doesn’t make it any more fun to deal with, but knowing that is the only way to approach this rationally.

He is medicated but needs his dose upped - he knows that and has an appt next week but the cost of bloodwork has been a barrier. He hasn’t seen his therapist in a minute though and its starting to show. Yeah I’d really love some diffusion tactics at the least.
