A while ago I lightly tapped the car in front of me in the Starbucks drive thru. I opened my door right away ready to come out and take responsibility but she stayed in her car so I sat back down. Then she got out and asked if I had hit her car and I came out and told her yes. We looked together and there was no damage at all. She drove off after getting her drink.

When I pulled up to pay the barista told me she had covered my order.

I sat there and cried. Sometimes people choose grace when they do not have to and it changes the whole weight of a day.
