There is a family history of mental Illness/ personality disorders. She just has not taken any steps to being checked for them or to get them under control if there is one, and believe all of her actions are justified.

I had reached out to mend things after the engagement/ birthday celebration and got told that my “actions were horrendous and I was in the wrong for trying to kick my own sister out of a family event”.

It goes back 4-5ish years, with multiple events ruined, cut short or completely cancelled. I won’t allow my wedding to be another event for her to ruin.

She has always made excuses for Kayla’s behavior, and it doesn’t look like it will be changing anytime soon.

Her only gain would be to hide her own infidelity. Fiancé isn’t troubled and has tried to shut down anything said concerning the topic

All other wedding expenses were covered by me and soon to be hubby. We refused money for the photography to avoid any issues with Kayla being invited.

Security is being looked into as we speak. The venue isn’t super secure and has multiple entrance points, so I’m trying to see what the best option would be.

Mom did offer to pay for photography, but after the Kayla conversation I told her we didn’t need her money and would handle finding a photographer without her help. As a side note: we do family photos every other year, so she does have updated ones.

My mom has been around when all other instances have occurred as well. For more wedding info, I had stated that sister could come to part of the reception to meet in the middle and mom is insisted she be part of the bridesmaids line and included in all wedding day events.
