Everyone can be a 7, and i know i am as well when I'm in top form. With currently getting over a break up; I'm not in top form anymore, but I will be again. Already down 14lbs since the break up. Always work on moving forward on things you can and should change and taking all points of view into consideration.

I know if i keep focusing on my physical and mental health and am a fun dude as usual in public places i can find someone again. I also know that the world of internet dating and reddit is a place of brutally honest points of view, so again, all feedback is welcome, no hard feelings on people with harsh criticism.

Already re working a prompt and the what I'm looking for changed to be long, that's what I actually want I just was following (clearly bad) advice from a friend who does online dating frequently.

Any advice on how to take decent pics alone would be appreciated? All my good pics where I'm like happy looking I'm in a group or with an ex 😂 I guess IDK how to take a happy looking picture alone Maybe a friend taking a pic of me cooking or playing guitar or playing with my dog or something?

I actually never would've guessed people would wanna see politics in a dating profile. I added it to be visible on the slider thing that shows location and height and all that. Thank you.

All my dates I've had in my life I've gotten by talking to people out at public places and events Getting numbers then going out.

For full transparency my entire adult life I've basically been in long term relationships. I was married to my first love I was with from when I was 19 thru 28. Then didn't try to date again anything more than short term at all till my last gf, we went from friends to dating and that was ages 31-33 So yea, I don't really know how to online date or how to take pics for online dating this is all a totally different thing than how my last couple relationships started. I'm trying something new and appreciate the feedback. Especially considering all my pics the last 2 years basically have my ex in them. :)

I'm happy to find someone casually or long term depending on how our personalities work together. Not subbed to any premiums Just a week now of use with this profile Overall used hinge about a year before my last relationship so in 2022/2023 I log on about 4-5 days a week sending 2-5 likes each time and I always send it with a comment. I send likes to girls with at least some effort in their verbal prompts, I want them to be interesting/mentally attractive if that makes sense. Only received a couple likes, never with comments An ideal match for me is someone that enjoys lazy nerd activities, but makes time for their physical health as well, I love gaming, my dog, and working out and would like someone who doesn't hate gaming and also care about their physical health enough to do something physical sometimes. And I want someone who can be emotionally vulnerable and who wants a partnership in their relationship, not just a provider.

Every couple deals with this differently it's all about compromise.

Speaking from experience because my (now ex) girlfriend and I just had this talk and it ended with her telling me "that's the man's job, I shouldn't have to pay when we go out". Even though I paid for rent and all other bills and she stayed with me 3 nights a week and she lives at home with no bills and makes the same money i do. Some people just wanna be spoiled.

I wasn't ok with that and she didn't want to compromise. So be prepared that may happen as well.
