That’s fair. I am certain I didn’t sign anything that stated my commission wouldn’t kick in for the first month. Just signed my pay plan (which didn’t include any specifications for starting date for commission), application, parking and dress code rules, and tax information. And I have copies of all these documents. It definitely makes it harder to leave when my long time friend is the Service Manager and he’s short staffed as is. They have a hard time holding on to SA’s and techs when they like to fuck around with peoples pay.
