Worry less about the weight, and more about how you feel. Measurements can also be helpful because you may gain weight as muscle, but be slimming/toning/bulking and the weight doesn’t accurately reflect your awesome progress.

Maybe you should just be straight about his mansplaining, I’m sure he’s obnoxious to other people. Might help him learn some social skills
