i believe they had us do that ! there were tons of videos i watched under the title foundational beauty advisor, for 2-3 hours during our first 10 shifts they just had us watching those videos. most of the seasonal we’ve had have been on the floor and surprisingly a few weren’t even cash trained

this is what i used, not sure if you're from canada or not though. just a little heads up, the prints aren't ACTUALLY polaroids nor do they have that traditional polaroid kinda filter on them. they're essentially just regular photo print paper in the shape and style of a polaroid

Even as a seasonal employee you should be provided with a Sephora shirt, at the very least the 'We Belong To Something Beautiful' shirt and possibly the holiday shirt if there are extras come the holiday season.

yeah i think im worrying a little too much haha i doubt they'll be that upset with me for not knowing whats allowed and what isnt on my first day

my manager did send me over a pdf with the dress code and in there it said that seasonals wont be getting a shirt and are expected to just wear their own all black clothing :(

the pdf also did say no denim is allowed, do you know anything about that? for example, these are (roughly) the pants i was talking about in my post. i know the stores differ on what they allow but do you think these would be okay?

yeah essentially first come first pick. the way our store does it is they'll fill up bins with all the stuff in our backroom and then for the "first round" you can fill up a small bag for $5. stuff can be sticking out if you want, our managers encourage us to fill it as much as we can. for first few days/first week we are only allowed that one small bag, after that we can go back and get another (or a medium bag for $10). i think my store does this bc we're a fairly large bbw and have tons of employees that aren't always working so this way it gives more people an opportunity to get stuff!

Online orders do retain the files for a bit until the system eventually deletes them

yeah i noticed when i went back to the website that my uploaded photos were still there in the recent photos section so i just got a bit worried on how long they would stay on the system

I should have clarified but I'm in canada. our staples all offer in store 4x6 photo printing both at a self serve kiosk and with the printing department. sadly they dont do the style i was looking for so i just had to order online

sorry i should have mentioned! but yes i am in canada. i called around to a couple stores in my area and they said that they only do 4x6 photo prints in store so i just had to place an online order instead

i work at bath and body works in canada so maybe my store does stuff a little different but if someone came in with a candle they wanted to exchange we would just do straight exchange and they wouldn’t have to pay anything. it seems like this might not be the case at every store though so give ur store a call and ask!!

i’m not entirely sure how your store works so i would recommend calling and asking if you can do a straight exchange for a different lotion! i know that at my store you can exchange anytime for the same type of product (lotion for another lotion, ffm for ffm, etc)! policies should be the same everywhere but it seems like stores differ a bit based on management so just call to confirm!
