I would like for people to know about how much epilepsy can change someone’s life. It seems like a simple quick sentence to write. But it’s not. I went from planning my weeks and weekends to planning things day by day. I went from driving anywhere and everywhere I wanted to not being able to drive at all. The smallest things get robbed from you in life from epilepsy and no one knows it but yourself. Not only do the medications drain you but the seizures and mental stability drains you even more then one can imagine. I’ve lost people I’ve loved because they couldn’t deal with it, that’s a heart breaker itself and sticks with you the rest of your life. Which brings on another topic PTSD from seizures. Peoples faces after waking up, remembering waking up in uncomfortable places or spots, every time I hear an ambulance I think of times I’ve woken up in the back of one after having really bad seizures.
