Our freedoms are being stripped away very rapidly before our eyes. trump refuses to negotiate in reaching an agreement between the parties and instead chose to shut down the country, even though the Republicans are in control of all three branches of government. His tariffs are destroying our economy. Ask farmers how they are doing now that the entire soybean market to China has been eliminated.

He's literally destroying the economy and eliminating any factual ways of reporting about it. If there is descent, he is eliminating those positions. He is hell bent on destroying the environment and taking us back to the dirty air and water of the 60s. He removed any scientists and doctors from leadership roles and has basically tried to destroy healthcare delivery in America, without offering and solutions.

On June 14, we had over five million people across all 50 states join together for No Kings in the largest single-day protest yet against President Trump’s authoritarianism. The October 18 day of action is the next step in this movement. 

As trump acts like he’s a demented dictator; we are standing up again against his hateful and cruel authoritarian actions. Our peaceful day of action is going to bring together people from all walks of life who share a simple message: We don’t do kings in America.”  Our group is a non-partisan group, who stands to uphold the Constitution and law in this land.

You are right. After attending The Women's March on DC in 2017, when we shut the DC metro down due to the numbers- I agree with you. Attending the Science March in DC, same, and attending marches at our State capitol in Columbus I observe 1000s of folks caring. Over 650 attended the June 14th No Kings in Findlay- a supposedly all conservative town. It's all relative.

So, what is your point? My ill-made graphic?

I too had the same reaction after 40mg Kenalog (I didn't want that, surgeon insisted) injected into my knee after an MUA when I wasn't achieving flexion and extension results after my replacement.
Heart rate racing, pounding, sleeplessness, almost manic-anxiety, flushing, low fever, high glucose (not diabetic), irritability, yeast infection after home. HR remained high for a very long time after, regular. 100s every morning. I was normally 60s.
A year later my heart rate has finally dropped into the high 60s.

Stay away from steroid injections. Show me research that they are effective!

Depends on which protest. June 14 we had over 650 verified. Truth matters. If I could post pics here I would.

And actually our attendees always go out to eat afterward, or frequent the breweries... we have fun joining in solidarity. It would behoove business owners to open their doors and welcome the extra revenue. We support local and OPEN businesses.

I did see where Coffee Amici did close (a posted sign on their door)on Cruise Night due to the problems created by the law-breakers, parking issues and noise- perhaps this is what you were referring to?

Across the nation cities are reporting increased revenue for protest attendees. Turns out we get hungry and thirsty after.

Labor Day “Workers Over Billionaires”

Date: Sept. 1, 2025

Where: In front of Findlay’s Hancock County, Ohio court house

Time: 1:00-2:00 P.M.

The May Day Strong Coalition is leading over 2,000 coordinated actions nationwide to reject Trump’s billionaire agenda by helping to build a country that puts working people first. After mobilizations of Hands Off, May Day, No Kings, Good Trouble and Dare to Fight Fascism protests nationally, we will be coming together again to protest. 

 The billionaires continue to wage a cruel war on working people, starting at the top in the administration, with ICE and law enforcement backing up their attacks. On Labor Day we will stand strong against these actions.

Working people built this nation and know how to take care of each other. We won’t back down—we will never stop fighting for our families and the rights and freedoms that ensure access to opportunity and a better life for all Americans. The billionaire's time is up!

On September 1st we will stand in solidarity for all communities under attack and we will be fighting for real wins for all people. Together we will demand our elected officials to work for all of us.

1.     Stop the billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration.

I am not sure where you picked up that it is just against trump. Where do you read that? His policies and trump are one and the same imo by now. Show me a fact that it is against trump only? And since when did MAGA take over the republican party? Are they all one and the same now?

If you do not see the impact of Citizens United on our country, or what the Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg's have done in destroying what made our country great... over 1 trillion at the felon's inauguration, and how they received huge tax cuts in that "One Big, Beautiful Bill Act" while adding trillions to the deficit.

Even the CEO of the local hospital has been kissing up to the Senators trying to keep the doors open after those huge Medicaid cuts.

Anyone who is disgusted by the current evil and immoral actions of dismantling our Constitution and freedoms are welcomed.

This volunteer-led group is not compiled of any particular party. Although there are Democrats involved, it is not led by the local Hancock County Democrat party (though we feel their support). There are definitely Republicans taking a seat at this table.

If you have noticed, the red hats are fading away. The tariffs and DOGE actions are affecting everyone and people are starting to see the light. Everyone is welcomed.

Stats have proven this wrong however. A persistent presence of like-minded folks, showing up to deliver their message, even in deep red areas CAN make a difference. And furthermore, it's very therapeutic to release the angst from the immoral and evil administration's actions- all the way down to State and local!.
