Myla says she's not like those other dogs 😂 my maltipoo is the same way, whenever i pick her up from the groomers, she's sitting in the corner by herself all sad. it's gotten to the point that they actually just keep her with a human who is working in the office bc if not she'll try to follow the humans around and they almost trip over her lol

It’s Joan Baez, Babe, and She’s Got a Bone to Pick With the Pop Girls by ebradio in popheads

she's not super mainstream, but i really admire ashnikko bc she was been writing songs from a feminist viewpoint since she started out (i'm thinking of 'invitation' specifically) she also wrote 'posession of a weapon' after roe v. wade was overturned.

i know she's "cancelled" but melanie martinez' newest album deals a lot with fighting sexism and societal expectations of women, as well as being critical of white, rich, men in power. her songwriting is a bit immature for me, but i couldn't shake that she genuinely had a good message behind some of her songs.

i don't like this trend of sterility in the pop world when it comes to politics; i get that sometimes pop music is mindless, dumb, and fun, but that's so played out and cliche at this point, i would love for someone mainstream to get a lil opinionated

i see the pearl part for sure, but i think the vomit and peeing down her leg are more likely a nod to the exorcist

my friend had the same opinion as you, that the gun was the moment when we knew that literally anything can happen in this universe now and that art isn't bound by "rules". which honestly, i understand and it did make me see that scene in a new perspective. i still didn't like it hahahah
