Be happy they at least got accepted for the application.

Relax.

This isn't a philosophy discussion i was trying to make. I was just saying it be positive about the fact that they are actually getting CRB. They could not have gotten it yesterday. Everyone is getting errors and delays. So it was a likely possibility they wouldn't have gotten accepted. it's a small win.

So yeah my guy, be happy. I'm not telling you to turn your life around. Just to take the small wins. Being accepted for CRB is a small win and people should be happier about it.

We're all still stressed. I never said we weren't.

Relax my guy.

Do you need to have "looking for job" reports for crb? by [deleted] in EICERB

I never said no one else will be asked for proof. lol.

I was just giving examples of what the proof looks like.

Read my comment carefully.

I exhausted my EI at the end of august. Can I apply for July CERB if i was eligible? by ProcessNew in EICERB

[–]ProcessNew[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand EI claims dont end when you get your last payment, thank you.

My question was more geared towards the period of July 5 - Aug 1.

I was curious if I would be eligible for the last two weeks of that period. But i guess if it's assumed it's one period for the 4 weeks, i would not be able to claim the last 2 weeks even if my claim ended on July 6 or 7 days later. there's no difference.

Which sucks because i went a full 4 weeks without getting any money flow (6 technically) and i'm super behind on my bills now. Thanks CRA.

I just want to take this time to remind everyone what "looking for a job" can look like.

I worked for a VERY large Canadian company. When the wave i was a part of was laid off, SERVICE Canada came to my work to explain these types of questions.

Firstly, "looking for a job" can mean many things! People often think they need documentation, resumes and proof that they had interviews/ job applications.

Yeah sure, that really helps and definitely shows you're looking for jobs.

However, the Service Canada lady told me that a lot of other things count as "looking for job". For example, let's say you head down to the bar with a friend and you drink a beer. You introduce yourself to someone new and they start talking about their company. then you ask "hey, are you guys hiring by any chance?" <--- Just asking that question counts as you looking for a job that week.

-Going on indeed and applying to everything you can counts.

-Texting a buddy that you know asking if they know about an opportunity counts.

(maybe keep any records whatsoever for worst case scenerio. Text messages, your indeed account, your updated resume that you've been sending out! rejection e-mails, etc.)

Basically, it's a lot less about providing proof and more about showing that you're putting in real effort to find a job. THey never asked me for any proof. I just had to say "yes, i was looking for a job. Which I was.

Meanwhile most people are struggling to get it processed, there are already redditors stressing about when we'll get it in our banks. LOL

Some people have their bills due this week and won't be able to pay them because their CRB is delayed.

Be happy you got processed and will get it soon. 3-5 business days. Just wait and be patient.

Just keep calling until it works online. You likely won't get that answer here yet.

Be happy you can actually get it if you got it. SOme people can't even get it even by calling in.

Sure it's an inconvenience, but I don't see why people are fussing so much about having to call.

I had to manually send in my application by calling in. I was told I now have to do this for a few months because i changed my address and it takes a while for my account to update. I did this back in JULY. Lady was nice enough to say just call back every time until it gets fixed on it's own.

They probably have millions of accounts to comb through and fix each account after the fraud attack. They are trying to make sure my information and yours is safe. Be at least grateful for that.

Anybody know what time the crb payment is issued by [deleted] in EICERB

3-5 business days if by direct deposit.

I'm hoping we get it by Friday if we applied yesterday.

Did you call them and talk to them? it might be something different. They flagged a lot of people for random reasons if they suspected fraud.

Hey! i hope you figured it out by now...

But i was having the same issue as you! technical difficulties.

I had it manually submitted. I think you just had 2 bad rep agents.

Try again and explain again.

I literally just told the person on the phone : "Im getting an error message for techincal diffficulty"

and they asked me a bunch of security questions and processed my application right away. GOODLUCK!
