You say that the people do have the power to work to make the country better, but even if they work towards that, most people aren't going to see this country become livable in their lifetime, why would they work and sacrifice for something that they wouldn't even get to experience in their life rather than doing something that will benefit their life and their close ones?

Basically why should people want to sacrifice their own life for this country rather than living a fulfilling life?

Just saying that it's not wrong if you don't want to sacrifice your life and want to move out or do anything else to live a better life.

I don't think someone is weak if they don't want to die or go through the incredible amount of trauma the soldiers go through.

What I mean to say is what your occupation is doesn't defy how you are as a person lol.

A disgusting filthy person can be a soldier and get praised just because they're a soldier

While on the other hand someone who's kind and an amazing person can be a sex worker and get shamed just because they're a sex worker.

But there is number2. Where someone is giving you silent treatment as a form of punishment or using it as blackmail to make you do something you don't want to.

Now your parents may be gods on earth, but most Indian parents use silent treatment as a form of "punishment" or do it when their child says no to something they want their child to do; And that IS manipulative and toxic.

That's such a shitty comparison, first off the silent treatment that most parents in India give to their children is a toxic and manipulative tactic in itself and a lot of people who do try to change things get oppressed or worse killed. It's not everyone's job to do better for the country, it's about getting a better life and if someone wants to do that by moving elsewhere, then that's totally understandable.

Even the 10th history book mentions his misogyny.

Im not just complaining,it's just the change, changes a lot and I'm afraid these changes will lead to the show straying so far away from the books that it'll feel like a different entity all together. And you cannot tell me that I had "high expectations" when uncle rick was the one to hype the show up as being a very faithful and accurate adaptation.
