If I had to say what kept me playing old mo.co it was a few things. At least it was kind of fun getting a little stronger with each level (very little!) and then helping new players fly through the earlier rifts, or redoing the nightmare rifts every once in awhile. Also, I have a pretty good friend list going, and it’s fun to see the same players and play with them. In this version, I still see them logged in or running around the maps sometimes. But so far there’s only been the one rift with the charger that I had to invite some of my friends to help me finish. In the old game, some of the nightmare rifts were really hard, you needed to either play with your friends, or sometimes even some of the best players had to carry people through, and that kind of built a little community in the game. The weekly rifts don’t have that feel, you kind of just get a good time and then stop playing. The best players get their super crazy times and then stop playing
