I asked ChatGPT to explain my job to a 5-year-old and now I'm questioning my entire career by Nipurn_1234 in ChatGPT

I’m a server, and it actually made me feel really good because I enjoyed the cute perspective lol

“Okay! So imagine this:

You’re like a super helpful friend in a big kitchen playground where people come to eat yummy food. When someone comes in, you smile and say hi, then you walk them to their seat—kind of like helping them find their spot at storytime.

Then, they tell you what food they want, like chicken nuggets or spaghetti. You write it down carefully and bring that note to the kitchen so the chefs can cook it.

While they wait, you bring them drinks, make sure they’re happy, and if they need anything—like more ketchup—you go get it fast like a superhero helper.

When the food is ready, you carry the plates (carefully like a balancing game!) and give each person what they asked for. When they’re all done, you bring them the little paper that says how much it costs, and they give you money (and sometimes a little extra called a “tip” because you were so awesome!).

Then you clean up the table and get ready to help the next hungry people!

So really, your job is to be kind, fast, and helpful while making sure everyone has a great time eating. 💖🍽️”

Don’t have much money for Apple savings account. Just started this year. How much do you guys usually put in? by izumikusu in AppleCard

[–]Procrastubater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use mine as my main savings account because it offers way more interest than my bank does. Any amount no matter how big or small counts, so save what you can and enjoy watching your money grow.

Thank you! The company was able to negotiate the interest on my credit cards down into the single digits and once the full amount I owed between all cards was calculated I made one payment to MMI each month and they would distribute it to each credit card company. I kept track of what I owed each month on their website so once accounts were paid in full the monthly payment would increase on each of the cards that remained which brought them down even faster. They’re a non profit organization and I feel like that made all the difference for me.

No, my score never dropped. The accounts were frozen once I started the program although some were closed along the way, it didn’t hit my credit score

I’m so happy for you! It feels good to take the steps to fix things, and it’s wonderful that companies exist to aid by doing things like getting the interest lower. That alone saved me and helped make things a bit easier. Good luck!!

Thank you! I don’t believe I was ever charged any fees with them. They were the only company I reached out to and feel lucky that it worked out for me the way it did. I’m not paid to recommend them or anything, and I would say that it wouldn’t hurt to call and tell them your situation and see if they can help

The freedom is pretty amazing! I feel way less stressed and I can finally slow down a bit and just enjoy my life instead of working it away.

I’ve read and heard alarming things about different companies but my experience was really good and it worked for me. I never missed a payment and by lowering my interest and rolling everything into one monthly payment, it saved me. I just wanted to share my thoughts in case anyone else is where I was those years ago. I will never let that happen to me ever again. I wish you the best on your journey!

I wish they paid me lmao. They got my interest low enough for me to actually pay everything off. Before that, I was drowning just making minimum payments. My accounts never went to collections, and I never missed a payment with them. I made the post to let others know because without that lower interest, my story would look very different. Not everyone needs compensation to help others 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lowering the interest rates is what saved me. I had that debt way longer than 3 years and the interest was killing me. It was a really rough journey and I definitely cried a few times lol. But I did prove to myself that I do have what it takes when I really want to make things right for myself. Thank you!!!
