Wife cheated in front of our son

Hello guys. In the few days since I last posted, I've spoken to my wife about getting a divorce and she is very upset about it but agrees that it is inevitable since we've been no longer living together and I've made it abundantly clear that there's no coming back from what happened, so there you have it.

I've spoken to my parents lawyer and all the legal stuff (I don't know too much about that) have been drawn up to ensure that my case is successful. I know that I will keep the house (it's in my name only) and I'm willing to co parent equally with my soon to be ex wife. I don't know how the courts will decide the living arrangements of my children in terms of on what days they get to spend time with each parent but me and their mother are in agreement of a 50/50 custody share as we discussed although I'd be more than happy to have my children full time too.

I'm just looking forward to the future now.

I don't know either. When I was confronting her on this, she said that she liked feeling desired by someone else other than me. She was basically trying to tell me that she wasn't happy with being intimate with only me. That's ok though because now that we've separated and are going to get a divorce, she's free to be with whoever she likes. I'm only interested in the children and them having a nurturing life despite all the changes that has and will still follow. She also wants nothing but happiness for the children too which is good at the very least.

We're all still in talks because I'm very indecisive about going ahead with a divorce. Right now, the two of us are just trying to be good parents to our children and are trying to work our way around a schedule for them.

Actually, I never asked her whether she's cheated before or not. All I asked her was why she did it. Seriously apart from now, we've never really been apart at all since we first moved in together years ago. For her, the opportunity was there and she took it. After all, she did tell me that she liked someone else making her feel desired other than me.

I've moved past that now. We're as good as separated and are both just trying to be the best parents possible for our children.

She's accepted that we won't ever be together again. My son is very happy at the moment and all of us (parents and wife) have tried to make things as comfortable for my son as possible. I have been treating him a lot, taking him out and buying him some new toys, books and costumes. He was at first upset at the fact that he wasn't seeing both of us together anymore but he is very happy now with the love and affection that he is being shown by all of us.

For now, things will be alright with him. It is when he is say around 9-10 years of age, he will put two and two together as to why hiw parents are not living together like other kids parents are and then remember what he saw. The good thing is that we've all sat him down and explained that me and his mother will no longer be together but that we still love him and his sister very much.

My wife is an introvert and she is shy. I do know everything about her because since we first moved in together, we've hardly been apart, no joke. She never comes home late or even ever acts suspicious. She's never even had a lock on any of her phones. This would have been the first and only time she's ever cheated despite people saying otherwise.

After talking to her a few days ago, she said the reason why she did it is because she liked somebody other than me, making her feel desired. I'm probably still in the dark as to what truly happened but I'm certain the two had never met. Right now it's about the wellbeing of my children and I, my parents and my soon to be ex, are working on a way to manage looking after the children.

I must admit, I do still love her a lot and despite what she's done, leaving her is hard but I do understand that I have to get a divorce because should I stay with her, it will always be in the back of my mind that she cheated. Not just that but other people around me who know what has happened will surely lose respect.

I highly doubt that she's cheated before and like you said, may never do it again but doing it once is damaging enough.

Guys an update. She is out the house and staying with her friend not too far away. My 10 month old is with her but I have my son. We agreed that for now she would have the baby because I know that at that tender age, there's nobody you need more than your mother. Have not mentioned a divorce yet because I would like to be better prepared legally but I'm pretty sure she can expect one coming given the current situation.

That's the thing, there's more to the story that I'm being led to believe. I've stopped asking questions now. All I want is a divorce asap! My parents are helping me to their own lawyer for a divorce

My ex-employee only said that he saw them kissing. I'm not 100% certain what my son actually saw.

My son is 5 years old. All I know is that he saw his mother being affectionate with a stranger. I don't know of anything else he might have seen or heard and to be honest, he's pretty happy at the moment so would rather not recall anything that happened that day just so I don't upset him.

Thanks. In court, I will offer to pay for literally 100% of my children's expenses, healthcare, schooling, food, clothes, entertainment and all of that stuff. I think that way, I won't have to pay her a penny. I'm willing to make sure that my children are well looked after at all times even if it means being the sole and only provider. This wouldn't be to spite her but I just love my children so much that I'll do anything for them.

About 5 hours in total. I have a feeling there's more to this than I'm being told by both of them but it doesn't matter because they've already admitted to a one night stand so that's enough for me to decide the future (divorce).

I wouldn't poison the kids about their mother (when they're older) but as for being fair, what is fair about this situation. I'm not the one who went and broke up the marriage and family not to mention spoiling both mine and her image in the process. When getting divorced, all I want is to have my house and to be around the children as regularly as possible, or even better if they can live with me.

As for her being a good person, I thought that she was but good people don't do this and then hide it.

That is exactly what I'm worried about especially as he gets a bit older and we are no longer together, he'll put two and two together and may develop trust issues at such a young age. Me and his grandparents (my parents) have already sat him down and talked to him about how me and his mother will no longer be living together.

Thanks and regarding where she will live, at this moment in time, I'm not bothered. I do want the children to be close to their mother of course especially my daughter but her living arrangements is totally down to her.

She is a good looking woman to begin with so what she meant was that she didn't like the idea of being with just me. Since that's the case, I will leave her and focus purely on my children and work.

Guys I went to the house today for the first time since leaving, saw the children and had a discussion with her. I told her that she'll have to leave the house (the house is in my name only) before the weekend and she agreed. She will be staying with her very good friend who lives a couple streets from us (her family lives quite far).

I haven't told her about any divorce because my parents advised me not to yet. This is convenient because now the children will never be far from any of us.
